Just build

If you have an idea, just start building. A few months ago, I started working on a new project with the idea that the current system for finding, connecting and booking an adventure guide was outdated or inauthentic and needed something new and improved. Trying to book a guide in Jackson, WY felt like stepping back into the early 2000s, and I knew there had to be a better way. So, I’m trying to fix that. Recently, I completely tore down our landing page, found a Figma template online, and rebuilt our code from scratch. Just to give you an idea…this project took me two days. Two days of hard work I’ll add, but this was my first full styling project in coding. I’ve attached a screenshot of how long I’ve actually been pushing code for and also a side by side comparison between our Figma file and our app. Some of the styles aren’t perfect but playing around with the code I think we almost got better results. Check it out at rendezvu.co and create an account too :) I’m sharing this because I want to show you just how simple it is to start building these days. If you have an idea and a problem you’re trying to solve, just start. Learn as you go. You’ll pick it up faster than you think and your only expenses are survival and AI subscriptions. It’s a great life. If you've been thinking about building something but don't know where to start, just reach out or ask AI. The barrier to entry is so low now that, honestly, it almost feels irresponsible to not start a company using AI. Ha!
